LYONS – It has been a long cold winter in Lyons, but things are looking up. The orange cones and barrels are finally gone along with the mud and the piles of dirt on the side streets and all the heavy equipment. The new sidewalks are in with sandstone accents and the new street lights create a wonderful soft light all over the downtown.

LYONS – I believe the 11th tarot key, justice, depicts with a great depth of symbolism the accumulated wisdom of thousands of years worth of thinking and reflections on experiences. So, I’m using the key as a basis for my commentary during this final phase of the Lyons Comprehensive Plan formulation.

It’s important to decide what your goals are and then create a plan to realize them. That is the idea behind the Town of Lyons updated Comprehensive Plan. The comprehensive plan, or comp plan, acts as a road map for the community.
