HYGIENE – Zweck is a name well known around rural Boulder County, associated with farming, fresh garden vegetables and a wide variety of fruits.

Gayle Zweck is granddaughter of the Cushman family, St. Vrain Valley pioneers, and wife of Russell Zweck.

Accessing your inner wisdom

A one-day workshop in which you will access your inner wisdom by learning a seven-step process that you will be able to use on your own. I have successfully used this process with counseling clients for over 20 years.

Hygiene has been graced by the beauty of an old stone church and by a cemetery, which has been well maintained by a group of very dedicated ladies in Hygiene throughout the years. The Hygiene Community Cemetery Association, which now owns the church, is in the process of renovating the 130-year-old structure and hopes to have an opening celebration this spring.

In the heart of Lyons Sandstone Country we have a solid as a rock character, Robert Phillips. He was born and raised in the area of Boulder County, bought some land on Colorado Highway 66 just north of Hygiene and built his home in 1968. Four years later he was joined by his present wife Frankie Martindale, joining two families each having two children ages 9 to 16.

Mary Magdalena offers painting for adults who want to express their creativity! No skills needed, just the willingness to show up and let what is inside out and have a good time. Those who are more advanced come to learn more in-depth skills too. We paint a canvas with acrylic as a background; while it is drying we do a centering meditation to get ourselves into our hearts. We then move into oil paints.
