LYONS – Boulder County Aging Services is sad to see Marie McCreery retire after more than 13 years of service. McCreery was the Aging Resources Consultant but before that she was the Community Care Coordinator which was basically the same job at Aging Services. Her last day will be March 4.

FORT COLLINS – After spending nearly 10 years in prison when he was convicted of killing Peggy Hettrick in 1999, a judge overturned the conviction of Tim Masters in 2008 citing DNA evidence found on the victim’s clothing did not match Masters’.

In Boulder the County Commissioners have dug their heels in and are focusing on their work. The commissioners have had their hands full since they lost one of their members, Commissioner Tom Mayer, who died on June 22 from cancer.
