LYONS – Big Foot Liquor, located at 447 Main St., will open soon. The new liquor store owned by Crysty and Steve McCain will carry a full selection of wines, beer, mixes, spirits, liquor and other items.

LYONS – The May chamber social was sponsored by the Barking Dog, Buttercream Bakery, Lyons ReRuns, Balcony Office Suites, and Sounds of Lyons. The social gave these businesses a chance to highlight their new construction and showcase their products and services. Thanks to all of you.

The chefs at Sushi Matsuri, owned and operated by Yumi and Taka Sueyoshi on Main Street in Lyons, are always coming up with new and exciting recipes for people to try.

LYONS – Tiffany Brodie is the business development associate with 10 til 2, the part-time job placement service. She is introducing the new company 10 til 2, the part time job placement service. This service has been placing part-time, professional employees into the Northern Colorado and the greater Boulder area for over three years and is now bringing services to Lyons and Longmont.

LYONS – Moving three doors down from their original location to a newly renovated building took a little more time than expected. “I was overly optimistic about our opening,” said Greig Chesne, owner of the Barking Dog, which relocated to 431 Main St. “This building is 120 years old and we had to do a lot of work. It took longer than I thought it would” The coffee shop closed in March and just reopened on May 14.

LYONS – The April Lyons Chamber Social was sponsored by Valley Bank, Greenwood and Gwynne’s Greenhouse, and held at Valley Bank. It was a fundraiser for Greenwood with help from Gwynne’s donating flower starts, which were in turn purchased by chamber members to support Greenwood. It also was to honor Earth Day. Thanks to the great sponsors for a great event.
