LYONS – The June social was cancelled due to the busy month in Lyons with Good Old Days and the Outdoor Games.

LYONS – The May chamber social was sponsored by the Barking Dog, Buttercream Bakery, Lyons ReRuns, Balcony Office Suites, and Sounds of Lyons. The social gave these businesses a chance to highlight their new construction and showcase their products and services. Thanks to all of you.

LYONS – The April Lyons Chamber Social was sponsored by Valley Bank, Greenwood and Gwynne’s Greenhouse, and held at Valley Bank. It was a fundraiser for Greenwood with help from Gwynne’s donating flower starts, which were in turn purchased by chamber members to support Greenwood. It also was to honor Earth Day. Thanks to the great sponsors for a great event.

Spring is coming, and so this month the Chamber Networking Social, taking place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday April 22 at Valley Bank and Trust, will be a triple celebration of Earth Day, spring and Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation.

March Networking Social

The March Chamber of Commerce social will be held on Friday, March 19, and will be sponsored by Experience, llc-Linette DeSano; Lyons Community Montessori School-Laurie Kennedy; Freeman Myre-Arn Hayden; and and Bank of Commerce Mortgage-Scott Young. It will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 429 Main St. Mix and mingle with fellow business men and women and see Experience’s new location as well as Montessori’s expansion. LYONS – I would like to start out by saying the Lyons Chamber Social for February has been changed and the information has gone out in print incorrectly.
