LYONS – Big Foot Liquor, located at 447 Main St., will open soon. The new liquor store owned by Crysty and Steve McCain will carry a full selection of wines, beer, mixes, spirits, liquor and other items.

This service has been placing part-time, professional employees into the Northern Colorado and the greater Boulder area for over three years and is now bringing services to Lyons and Longmont.

La Mariposa renovation begins soon

LYONS – The owners of La Mariposa restaurant, Rene and Maria Cervantes, will begin remodeling the restaurant, located just east of Lyons on Colorado Highway 66, this week. The restaurant has been closed for several months. “We thought that we would be open again by now,” said Cervantes.

GIS for small business

LYONS –The Lyons Economic Gardening Group will sponsor a seminar by Wayne Kocina, owner and President and CEO of GeoWize, entitled “Supporting Local Economic Development with Geographic Information Systems, GIS, ” at 6:30 p.m. on April 6 at the Lyons Community Church, downstairs, on the corner of Main Street and Fourth Avenue.

LYONS – Linette DeSano will open an eclectic boutique called Experience at 429 Main St. on March 2. DeSano said she is very excited to open the boutique at the newly remodeled building on Main. Arn Hayden and Scott Young, both Lyons businessmen, own the building.
