The High Street presents Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen on Friday, September 16. A man of many hats whose music combines power, volume, crispness, clarity, timing, taste, passion, and drive, Solivan is joined by Mike Munford on five-string banjo, Stefan Custodi on upright bass, Rob Ickes on dobro, and Lincoln Meyers on flat-picking guitar, in a bluegrass tour-de-force. Opening the evening is the Rorey Carroll Band, whose songs bridge American folk and alterative country/bluegrass. Doors at 7 p.m. and the show is at 8 p.m. Tickets are available in advance at the Stone Cup or at the door at Rogers Hall, on the corner of Fourth and High Street.
