Part-time job placement service
LYONS – Tiffany Brodie is the business development associate with 10 til 2, the part-time job placement service. She is introducing the new company 10 til 2, the part time job placement service. This service has been placing part-time, professional employees into the Northern Colorado and the greater Boulder area for over three years and is now bringing services to Lyons and Longmont.
The 10 til 2 service has shifted the paradigm of staffing by providing businesses with educated, professional employees for long-term, part-time job opportunities. This is not a temp service, which is a mistake people often make. Instead, 10 til 2 works primarily in the permanent work world – just part-time. The company provides employers with college-educated professionals who are looking for long term, part-time work. Given our current economic environment, 10 til 2 is a win-win solution for small to medium sized businesses looking to grow but not able to do so provided the costs associated with hiring full-time help.
The 10 til 2 service will take care of the expensive, time-consuming human resource duties while business owners focus on growing and tending to their businesses. By using 10 til 2 employees, business owners do not need to pay benefits. The 10 til 2 will do many things including: advertise a job opening, sort through resumes in the proprietary database to match skills with the business requirements, conduct initial screenings, schedule interviews, perform reference checks, handle hiring paperwork and ongoing payroll processing. When they find the perfect part-time employee, they place that person on their payroll. You simply pay for only the hours required to get the job done. LONGMONT – After paying off $8.4 billion in government loans with interest in April, GM (General Motors) is renegotiating some of the dealerships which were scheduled to close. GM filed for bankruptcy protection last year in June. Last May the company announced it was cutting 1,100 dealerships. One of those scheduled for closure was Hajek Chevrolet in Longmont. But now more than half of those scheduled to close have been reopened and Hajek reached an agreement with the company to remain open. They expect to hire more employees.
