LEGG introduces Chuck Keim
Redstone Review
LYONS – During the last few months we have been introducing the members of the chamber’s economic development committee, the Lyons Economic Gardening Group, LEGG. In previous issues of the Redstone Review you have met Christy Crosser, Bill Van Leeuwen and Rick Whitcomb. We now have the great pleasure to let you meet Chuck Keim. I’m sure many of you in the Lyons area already know Keim, but for those of you who do not, here he is:
Charles (Chuck) Keim is the President of the newly formed Redstone Associates, Inc. a consulting firm focused on the needs of the Lyons area. Previously, Keim owned and operated Charles Keim and Associates, Inc., a full-service engineering and project management firm in Boulder, which was sold in September 2008. Prior to that time, Keim was Chief Engineer and Senior Projects Manager of two different privately held regional companies headquartered in Colorado. Keim also has experience as a County Engineer in three Colorado Counties.

Chuck Keim is the president of the newly formed Redstone Associates Inc. a consulting firm focused on the needs of the Lyons area.
With 42 years of professional engineering experience in both private and public sectors, Keim has developed a wide repertoire of engineering and management skills, with a special expertise in the areas of aesthetic and sensitive lands civil design, and management of large and complex projects.
Chuck is a graduate of the University of Colorado (Boulder) and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Colorado and Arizona.
In addition to his position as a member of the Board of Directors of the Lyons Area Chamber of Commerce and a LEGG team member, he is a member of the ACEC Transportation Committee, Legislative Committee, and the Business Practices Committee, and is also is the chair of the Peaks Leadership Team of the United Methodist Church, specializing in strategic and advance planning facilitation.
Keim and his wife Kitty Keim have three children and two grandchildren. For fun, he is a landscape and event photographer, bluegrass bass player, and enjoys baseball, hunting, gardening and the Colorado outdoors. John O’Brien is the chairman of the Lyons Economic Gardening Group, LEGG and president of the Lyons Chamber of Commerce. He has worked in business and industry for many years and teaches classes at the University of Denver. He lives in Lyons.
