The Lyons Chamber Social will be at the Oskar Blues Party Barn on Thursday February 25 at 5:30 p.m. It will be hosted by Bank of the West. Please help spread the word about the day and place. The Lyons Chamber Social for January was held at the new and improved St. Vrain Market. The new owners, Neil and Connie Sullivan, introduced themselves and their six employees, who were busy serving the members of the chamber treats from their store. Neil spoke of how this store is the store of the Lyons people and the Sullivans intend to listen and cater to that thought. They have brought in some great new products along with cleaning up the store. They also get kudos for recycling six tons of material that will not be in the landfill. Thank you to Neil and Connie. We wish you well and glad you have made Lyons your home.
Also recognized at the meeting were the winners of the Buy Local Campaign. The first place winners of a $100 gift certificate were Dave and Betsy Winter; second place and winners of a $50 certificate was a tie between Caleb Roberts and Amy Reinholds and Christy Crosser; third place winner of $25 certificate went to Matt Provost. Also the lucky winners who won gift baskets include Clark Hodge, Rita Rotz, Sue Wratten, Debbie Foundray and Brandon and Danema Mann.
