LYONS – The December social was sponsored by Oskar Blues and On-Site Computer. Both companies did a fabulous job of showcasing their businesses with videos and PowerPoint presentations. Thanks to these great Lyons companies for their support and knowledge.

The next social will be at the St. Vrain Market, hosted by the new owners Neal and Connie Sullivan .  It will take place at the St. Vrain Market on Jan. 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Please be sure to RSVP with the chamber so they save room for everyone.

Some upcoming events are:

Jan. 14th: Lyons Community Acupuncture Opens. Effective, affordable acupuncture for everyone  will be provided by local, experienced acupuncturists Carol Conigliaro and Julie Smith. Community style, low cost acupuncture will cost $20 to $40, or pay what you can. Open every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Lyons Glen Community Center, 503 2nd Ave. (behind Andrea’s), 303-819-7669, appointments preferred, walk-ins accepted. Start the new year off right.

Jan. 14th: Leadership Series Session on Board Development. It is not too late to register for this important session. If you are looking for ways to jump start your board and make it more effective, this session is not to be missed. Double D Accounting has moved

Double D Accounting, owned by Diane Johnson, recently moved to 138 East Main St. in Lyons Village Central shopping center. Double D’s regular hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with closure from 12 noon to 1 p.m. each day for lunch.

Johnson is working with her daughter and associate, Cassie Walters. Tax or business information may be dropped off with Walters if Johnson is out of the office.
