Classes in Hygiene
Mary Magdalena teaches the following classes at her studio at 7453 Hygiene Rd., two doors west of the feed store in the red house with the tipi. For more information call Mary Magdalena at 303-652-4004, e-mail mary@marymagdalena.com, or visit www.marymagdalena.com.
Accessing Our Inner Wisdom
A one-day workshop will teach a way to access your inner wisdom by learning a seven-step process that you will be able to use on your own. Mary Magdalena has successfully used this process with counseling clients for over 20 years. When we feel blocked, stuck, fear, or lack of joy, we can stop, sit and apply this process. You will be amazed at how simple yet how profound it can be in getting us back in touch with our inner wisdom. Sunday, January 17, 1p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; $40.
Adult Painting Classes at the Hygiene Farm
Mary Magdalena offers painting for adults who want to express their creativity! No skills needed, just the willingness to show up and let what is inside out and have a good time. Those who are more advanced come to learn more in-depth skills too. We paint a canvas with acrylic as a background; while it is drying we do a centering meditation to get ourselves into our hearts. We then move into oil paints. It is truly amazing what happens here in these five hours. $50. All supplies included. January 16 or 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Meditation Class
This class offers you the opportunity to learn and experience the art of meditation. It will be a 1.5 hour class in which you will be given helpful tips on meditation: posture, focusing, relaxation and goals. In each session you will have a guided meditation led by Mary Magdalena. She has been leading guided meditations for over 25 years. The group guided meditation will assist you in developing your connection to your inner world. This class is designed for beginners, yet any level is welcome since we all benefit by the energy of the group. Tuesday mornings, six weeks, January 15, 22, 29 and February 2, 9,16 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. The fee is $60. Or Tuesday Evenings, same dates as above 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
