LYONS – The Lyons Economic Gardening Group, LEGG, will host a seminar on social media and networking. The conference will take place at 6 p.m. on April 21, at the Lyons Community Church on Main Street.Recca Larson, who is the Economic Intelligence Specialist at the City of Littleton, Office of Business/Industry Affairs, will be the speaker. She will be presenting a talk on the relatively new phenomenon of social media and its “viral” nature. She will further discuss how businesses, small and large are using social media to the benefit of their customers while improving their bottom line.

Larson will discuss the most popular social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, MeetUp, YouTube, and many more. She will also discuss who is using social media with many examples of how they are being used successfully.
